If you do not believe it is possible for your dream to be a part of your reality, you are energetically putting up a brick wall of resistance blocking all possibility that you can manifest what you desire. Expect your dream to manifest. Know that it is happening. Know that the Universe is working in your favor, even when it does not appear to be from your perspective. Trust and believe what you desire is coming to you.

How can we learn to manifest easily, quickly, and joyfully? For instance, if you want to “order up” the soul mate of your dreams, you would not focus on “I don’t want a jerk” or “I don’t want a liar”, and definitely not “I don’t want to get hurt again”! The Universe will “hear” and respond to exactly those words because the Universe responds to thought energy. There is no differentiation between want and don’t want.
The technique works because you are using the power of intention to change the energy within and around you. Our example of a job offer is unlikely to materialize out of the blue unless you take action to enable the manifestation to occur. What? You thought the wish would simply materialize while you sat on the sofa? Sorry, you have to do some additional work.

Of course not – you’d be feeling energized, you would get out right away to do things that will make you feel even better – you’d be taking action needed to fully experience the miracle of the day you’ve created – for yourself, with your thoughts, focusing all of your words, thoughts and actions to attract more of that great feeling!
I have known of the Law Of Attraction (LOA) for many years, and first went to hear Abraham in the early 1980s, but I considered the LOA too simple a formula, too cute, to be all that Abraham says. But, after another 35 years of spiritual study, I found myself once again back at the LOA. Only this time with a realization: the LOA is the gravity of the Universe. Perhaps not in a purely physical sense, but by analogy, it is exactly that

Which brought me to this basic statement of the fundamental Abraham teaching. And what a fine, excellent book it is. It explains so many things, why things are the way they are, why we keep trying to change things, but keep winding up with the same disappointing, unwanted results, and how to change the way we tell the Universe what it is we truly want.
These kind of things most of the time happen to us – we don’t plan to wake up in a good mood; but as the day goes on, and the good things keep happening, we begin to notice how happy we are, we are saying and doing all the nice things and, if we don’t stop ourselves  (the “too good to be true” moment), it will continue that way, and even more of good things will happen, making us feel even better. If that day could go on forever, we’d probably become a snowball that grows thanks to the good things and good people it absorbs 🙂

Most of the times, we think we know exactly what we need to be happy, what we need to get rid of, what needs to happen and what shouldn’t happen. Sometimes we are right and sometimes we are wrong. You can look into your past or study any person’s past and realise that the big jumps in maturity, life satisfaction, gratitude etc. happen when things go drastically wrong and we realise there is more to life than the surface appearances and start enjoying life at a different level. This reminds me of a Dalai Lama’s quote, “Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck”. So answering the second question. No, you won’t always get what you want.


In fact, I saw this principle proven plain as day when I attended a healing workshop a few years ago. The presenter was going to give an example about healing from cancer, so he asked the audience members with cancer to raise their hands. Literally, 95% of those with cancer were seated next to each other in one long row of chairs. It was obvious to the entire crowd of over 500 people. When the presenter realized the “irony,” he asked if they knew each other. Astoundingly, almost none of them knew each other and that each other had cancer. They had just been drawn together. The negative frequency of cancer attracted more of that. Hello Law of Attraction, right?


You will also want to keep your affirmations as short as possible. We talk too much as it is, and when it comes to affirmations we need as few words as possible. Potent words. Soulful words. Words that we can repeat with as much force of our wills as we can generate to stream a current of power into the belief we are creating. That way the Universe has to take notice and respond ASAP.

1. Actions that matter: The biggest problem we had with books like The Secret was that all you had to do was think positively to see results. This Pollyanna approach to manifesting wealth or anything in life sounds good, but rarely works. Manifestation magic requires you to listen to the audios. This is work. It’s not hard work — but it’s necessary work.

Once you achieve the Theta state of mind you are guided by the program to use various techniques such as “subliminal mind commands”. This technique helps you get rid of old patterns and adopt new positive patterns. For instance, you remove negative thoughts that tell you “I am unworthy” and take up new positive patterns that otherwise help you think that “I am powerful and unique. “I am a failure” is replaced by “I can accomplish anything”.
While it seems complicated on the surface, manifesting destiny is a powerful notion that empowers the mind to control your life as you see it fit to be. In the same vein as taking control of your self-acceptance, self-love, and self-confidence, no other person or entity has the power to effect change in your life than you. Take your future by the reins, starting now. What's missing in the life you want? Go get it.

If you’re practicing these techniques with something simple, it’s time to take action and expect your results. If you’re using the system to find great parking, get in your car and drive to that parking spot with the full intention and expectation of finding it clear for you. Announce it out loud. “That parking spot is clear for me. I am parking in the spot that is open for me.” Again, we are fully aware that this seems really silly, but it’s a critical step.
Meditate at least 5 minutes a day to lower your stress levels. Stress is a normal part of life, but too much can be overwhelming. Relieve your daily stresses with a short meditation that will relax both your mind and body. For a simple meditation, sit in a comfortable position, then close your eyes. Focus on your breathing, letting your thoughts come and go.[5]
