I read similar books often. I loved The Secret series by Rhonda Byrne. But this book adds meat to the bones of all the other LOA books I have read. It explains how and why LOA may, or may not, work for you. The writing style is conversational and clear. The guidance appears sincere. The book is written by someone who wants you to really understand LOA and how it can work in your life. I came away inspired to try LOA instead of saying 'what drivel.' Yes, there are a multitude of typos. Try and not get stuck on those. Instead, look for the message. It is laid out and waiting for you to try it. I will.
12) We’re Not Perfect: The LOA is a “perfect law” and should result in a “perfect” life. We are told that no goal is too big if you can think it; there is no such thing as an unrealistic goal. From The Secret “You can think your way to the perfect state of health, the perfect body, the perfect weight, and eternal youth. You can bring it into being, through your consistent thinking of perfection.” Reality check -life is not perfect. It can be great, fantastic, amazing, incredible, even optimal. But perfect? Won’t happen. What’s the problem with this way of thinking? Why not expect perfection? Fantasizing and striving for perfect makes you feel better in the short term but actually reduces your chance of attaining your goals and results in more unhappiness and blaming. If you are only going to be satisfied with perfect results – perfect health, perfect body, perfect family, perfect marriage, perfect friendships, perfect kids, perfect house, perfect job, perfect life; you are in for a perfect disappointment. Research studies support this.
There’s no doubt whatsoever, that when my daughter decides she’s going to be a princess, she doesn’t say she’s going to pretend to be a princess or to do princess things. She says, “I’m going to BE a princess,” and she does precisely that. She believes it with every fiber of her being. She’s a princess. You point to a chair or the table and say, “Is that a princess castle?” The answer is “Absolutely it’s a princess castle!”
Israel Regardie published books with the Law of Attraction theme as one of his prevailing Universal Laws. A negative internal monologue puts focus on negative thoughts and will make them grow. The Law of Attraction asserts that whatever you give focus will grow, and an essential step in feeding positive thoughts is gratitude. Walk that talk! To attract positive change into your life, you need to be emitting positive energy into the universe. The best way to usually do this is to act ‘as if’. Therefore, don’t just tell yourself what you want through affirmation; act as though you already have it. One great tip for making this easier is to say ‘thank-you’ at the beginning of your affirmations. This can help to convince your subconscious that you are already enjoying something.

Instead I have been able to approach life in a different way. Learning to be thankful for the things I keep om receiving everyday, such as: The love of my kids, my friends, the overall experience in my journey and of course I have been throught bad ones and good ones. But all of those experience are an invaluable treasure to me. So dont assume everyone wants to attract the things you mentioned before.


There is no right or wrong answer to when is the best time to use affirmations. I like how this book talks very little theory and goes straight into practical suggestions how to change your mind to more positive, because positive mind attracts positive things. Love that there are tips and tricks for every person from those who are looking for a job to divorcees or even to pregnant women. And what I liked the most it's even if you are not the type of person they are writing about you can still easily incorporate that thinking even in your life. It is all connected. Overall really great book, can't ask for more.

Energy orbiting is the key that helps one change the negative traumas, thoughts, and beliefs in the subconscious mind and conscious mind into positive ones. These are the negative aspects which are to blame for the chain of unfortunate events taking place in your life. Effective energy orbiting is done by reaching deep within yourself into your “Transformation zones”. I do not claim to have all of those things either. However, I do have most of the things that I described and I managed to attain them through my value-based goals, plans, process-visualizations, and inspired action. I didn't ask the universe for it, you might say that the universe knew, but I was driven to get these things. I didn't act or pretend like I already had them.
