Simply put, the Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. It is believed that regardless of age, nationality or religious belief, we are all susceptible to the laws which govern the Universe, including the Law of Attraction. It is the Law of Attraction which uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into reality. In basic terms, all thoughts turn into things eventually. If you focus on negative doom and gloom you will remain under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts and have goals that you aim to achieve you will find a way to achieve them with massive action.
Phrase your desires using positive terms. It’s important to avoid phrases that rely on negative words like “no” or “not” to state what you want, such as “I don’t want to lose my job.” Similarly, include the words for what you want to avoid attracting the wrong thing. For instance, “I don’t want to lose” sends out the word “lose,” while “I want to win” sends out the word “win.”[2]
8) No Support: Since you will always attract what you think about, you need to avoid any type of support groups for people with mental or physical illnesses or for people with similar experiences. Research shows that support groups such as alcoholics anonymous, weight watchers, or breast cancer support are beneficial. The LOA incorrectly predicts that you will make your problems worse.
I read similar books often. I loved The Secret series by Rhonda Byrne. But this book adds meat to the bones of all the other LOA books I have read. It explains how and why LOA may, or may not, work for you. The writing style is conversational and clear. The guidance appears sincere. The book is written by someone who wants you to really understand LOA and how it can work in your life. I came away inspired to try LOA instead of saying 'what drivel.' Yes, there are a multitude of typos. Try and not get stuck on those. Instead, look for the message. It is laid out and waiting for you to try it. I will.

I like what I just read, but after working so hard during the day at my regular job, I hardly have any energy left to concentrate on manifesting. I understand it takes discipline to accomplish this training but too often I’m sidetracked into negative thinking especially when things don’t go right during the day. I find myself being bogged down by stupid things that annoy me especially when I’m driving, I would always be stuck behind some huge Truck on the road or people driving really slow in front of me and I would get very upset with myself. I can feel how this lowers my body vibration when I’m upset and it takes a while to calm down, it seems I’m always pressed for time and there’s always someone in my way to slow me down and nothing gets me angrier like when someone is in front of me and moving so slow that pisses me off. Believe me, I’ve thought about the manifesting thing for some time now but I lack the frame of mind to even try it.


This takes practice, but I promise if you stick with it, it will work. I went from a place of such illness and financial poverty to the exact opposite and I believe so much of it had to do with my shift in focus. When I received my stem cell transplant in India (which by the way practically fell in my lap when I finally wasn’t focusing on illness as much), I was literally catapulted into another culture: “the mind leads and the body follows.” I was not allowed to focus on the symptoms and the sucky things each day. My doctor there simply would not stand for it and would immediately say “the stem cells help heal your body along with your mind. They do not kill or address disease at all.” When I attempted to add my two cents about this bacteria or toxin, she would bring me back to the focus on bringing my body up, toward healing. And I healed exponentially faster than so many others that resisted her insistence away from the talk of disease specifics. She knew very well what she was doing….and I see that now.

According to the Law of Attraction, what you think and feel shapes your reality. The power of affirmations lies in their ability to transform your external world by first changing your internal one. In addition, you can use affirmations for all sorts of goals, from self-confidence to career success, love, and abundance. Their only limitations are the ones you place on them.


Example: “I don’t want this pain. I can’t stand this pain” changes to “I want to feel good in my body. I want to be able to walk easily and freely.” Do not use any negative words when you shift your talk, because whatever you focus on, grows. And you are trying to grow the positive, which is what you do want. If you focus on “I don’t want to feel this way,” you are giving your focus to feeling that way and attracting that very thing.

wallace wattles is not god. just because a teacher of a subject says something dumb like don't help the poor ever doesn't mean the whole subject they teach is worthless. but it's true that if you surround yourself with low achieving struggling people it will effect you differently than the opposite and if you think about illness and victimhood most of the time it will effect you differently than health and power
So get clear about the seeds you are planting. If you want financial abundance, for example, get clear about what that looks and feels like for you. Sometimes you may think you’re sending out vibrations of abundance, when in fact you’ve been planting seeds of lack. Every time you say you can’t afford something, you are planting a seed of poverty. Watch your words and mind your thoughts. It would be more effective to say something like, “I have all the money I need, but I choose not to spend my money this way right now.” This shift in vibration calls forth energy of optimism and control, rather than victimization.

Straight forward, easy to understand, and apply makes it a great book to read and read and read. I also listen to his podcasts and following him on youtube. A negative internal monologue puts focus on negative thoughts and will make them grow. The Law of Attraction asserts that whatever you give focus will grow, and an essential step in feeding positive thoughts is gratitude. When you feel yourself going toward the negative, think of specific things you are grateful for to reset your thought process in a positive manner.

I love ease :) The layout is straightforward, simple, all prompts and information are easy to understand and mimics Abraham’s voice. I used to find resistance when prompting & organizing the different games myself, so I was happy to find this app because it is already done for me and I can really focus on my vibration. And I spend many hours a day nursing my baby, so I can easily work on my vibration with this app instead of watching TV or falling asleep during meditation. I truly find joy in doing each one. Take an aligned action. Align your actions with your goal. If you want to go to travel the world then you might need to save more money or have some other source of income while you travel. In order to ground the energy, do what you would be doing in the case when you’d be certain that it’s already yours. In our example, by saving money for your travels you’re aligning yourself with the realizing your dream — you show to the Universe that you’re certain that you’ll go therefore you’re preparing for it by saving money.
