We are what we attract, or so it says in this book. I initially purchased this book for my husband and it does offer some interesting reading material, just not really what I thought it would be after reading so many glowing reviews about the book. Clearly, one does have to be open-minded when reading this book, but also take it all with a grain of salt. It more reminds me of "The Secret" and all of it's hype when it was so popular. According to my understanding of the basic concepts of the book is that everything that happens or lack there of begins in our own minds. Yes, true, that "as so a man think, he becomes". The value of this book is in promoting the idea that you have more control over your life than you think. The mind is capable of a lot, including how your body lives, how you present yourself to other people, etc. When you have a positive train of thought, you will have better health, better prosperity and better life in general. That simply is true and cannot be denied. I think this book is a good stepping stone on where to begin, but is seems reminiscent of Napoleon Hill's, "Think and Grow Rich," or James Allen's, "As a Man Thinketh,". What the book doesn't tell you is that when negative things happen to you, your positive attitude can turn those things into far less tragic events. There are other books that will make this more clear.
Business leaders should use language that affirms positive outcomes. Think about the subtle difference between the words "I am" and "I will be." The former puts you in the mindset of already achieving what you want, while the latter implies something you will do in the future. Be mindful of how you express yourself. Boxing legend Muhammad Ali is famous for saying, among other phrases, "I am the greatest!" I'm confident that you'll agree: "I will be the greatest" just doesn't pack the same punch.
The law of attraction (LOA) is the belief that the universe creates and provides for you that which your thoughts are focused on. It is believed by many to be a universal law by which “Like Always Attracts like.” The results of positive thoughts are always positive consequences. The same holds true for negative thoughts always leading to bad outcomes. But the LOA is much more than generalizations; thinking about red Lamborghinis will bring you red Lamborghinis – always. To the believers, questioning the validity of the LOA is akin to heresy and blasphemy; it creates religious fervor. To the uninitiated, it may seem silly to discuss even the possibility that such a law could exist.
Step 4. Turn to the mirror. Look into your own eyes. Repeat the statement of desire as if it has already happened, “I am a . I work at . I earn $XXX.XX per year. I love my work. I appreciate my boss. My coworkers are the best. Repeat it two or three times – whatever feels right to you. It doesn’t matter if you use different words as long as the feeling is the same. Embellish the words, make them your own.
"Law of Attraction is very simple. You have to know what you want. You focus on the positive aspects of what you need, desire, or want to manifest. Positive attracts positive; negative attracts negative. This is where the saying 'misery loves company' came from. Lower-level energies will flock together. If you want to manifest, you envision rising above these energies and staying in the positive. ... This can be further detailed by saying that if you think it, it will come. Words have power and thoughts can be energy," according to Estes.

If you’re practicing these techniques with something simple, it’s time to take action and expect your results. If you’re using the system to find great parking, get in your car and drive to that parking spot with the full intention and expectation of finding it clear for you. Announce it out loud. “That parking spot is clear for me. I am parking in the spot that is open for me.” Again, we are fully aware that this seems really silly, but it’s a critical step.
But the one who really first articulated the Law as general principle was Prentice Mulford. Mulford, a pivotal figure in the development of New Thought thinking, discusses the Law of Attraction at length in, for example, his essay "The Law of Success",[14] published 1886-1887. In this, Mulford was followed by other New Thought authors, such as Henry Wood (starting with his God’s Image in Man,[15] 1892), and Ralph Waldo Trine (starting with his first book, What All the World's A-Seeking,[16] 1896). For these authors, the Law of Attraction is concerned not only about health but every aspect of life.[17][18]
This is not about blame. I truly believe it’s our job to do what we can to hold a positive vibration, BUT we live in a big ol’ Universe that’s always conspiring for us too. Timing is divine and sometimes things are just doing what they need to do because of something we can’t see. It’s important to not blame ourselves when things don’t happen like we intend, but instead to just keep on doing what we can and know it’s all working out for the greater good.
According to Michael Losier’s The Law of Attraction (LOA), you attract into your life whatever you focus your attention and energy on, whether positive or negative. While it is relatively easy to understand this principle, it can sometimes prove challenging to put to use. Oftentimes, when people claim that the LOA doesn’t work, they just haven’t yet mastered how to utilize this powerful and reliable energetic law of the Universe.
Expect that the universe is more likely to give you things if you’re already grateful for what it has provided to you. Giving an asked-for birthday gift to someone and barely receiving a thank you, you’d likely avoid providing a second gift. On the other hand, you’d get excited about giving a repeat gift to someone who enthusiastically expressed their appreciation for your gift. Imagine the universe in the same way.
“Oh, it’s gonna be a wonderful day!” This sentence can hardly be said without enthusiasm, without really feeling that everything around you is great. Now, imagine waking up every morning with the intention to manifest a great day for yourself, with the strong conviction that the day will be just the way you want, and saying this sentence. With intention, not by accident; with belief, not by default.
Over the last few years we have been bombarded with information about how to manifest money or how to make a wish come true merely by thinking about it. And some of those ideas work – some of the time. We briefly covered five techniques in a previous article, “How to Attract Money”. Today we’re going to combine those techniques, and more, in a powerful manifestation technique that you can carry out once a day, and which will produce tangible results if you are open to receiving them.
10) Blame Yourself: As the LOA is supposed to be a perfect, universal law, positivity should ALWAYS attract more positivity. The corollary of this is that you alone are completely responsible for any goal that was not successfully achieved, no matter how unrealistic the goal. This assumes that you not only control your thoughts and actions, but also those of everyone around you…and nature. The fact is, that you don’t. Sorry to break that to you.
When I tell people that this is what it really means to believe in a law of attraction, they don't believe me. They say, that's ridiculous. We don't control everything in the universe. But you are a perfect example of the negative, blame the victim side of the LOA. I understand, appreciate, and respect that maintaining this perspective is consistent with your beliefs in the LOA. My personal belief is that this is not healthy for you, others with whom you connect, or for society in general.
The spoken word has always had great power and always will. It serves many purposes, among them transmitting energy as intent or communicating messages or ideas. If we have a desire or intent we wish for ourselves and our lives, it can solidify it and give us a means of expression for it to set our desires in motion. This can be done in a manner as simple as making a wish for something out loud to another person.
“If you don’t like your current situation, career, or relationships, by envisioning a different reality and constructing a new life within your mind, you literally cause the fabric of existence around you to bend to that new reality. You begin drawing in opportunities, people, and situations that you can take advantage of to propel yourself where you want to go.” — 0 likes
The original creators of the law of attraction going back to the 1880s including Prentice Mulford,James Allen, Thomas Troward, William Walker Atkinson, Bruce MacLelland, Wallace Wattles, Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale, and W. Clement Stone promoted the belief that this is a universal law in which you attract only what you are thinking about. Modern LOA proponents such as Rhonda Byrne, Jack Canfield, Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, Joe Vitale, The Hicks family, and many others have stated similar beliefs.

Years later, I learned the same about financial security. When you worry and focus on the “problem” or the lack of financial security, NOTHING good will come from it. Nothing. When I decided to literally focus on every little financial “win,” and get rid of fears around money, my financial situation turned right around. And faster than I thought it could too.

Meditate at least 5 minutes a day to lower your stress levels. Stress is a normal part of life, but too much can be overwhelming. Relieve your daily stresses with a short meditation that will relax both your mind and body. For a simple meditation, sit in a comfortable position, then close your eyes. Focus on your breathing, letting your thoughts come and go.[5]
I sent a mail to the support team on how I missed out on the $8.88 flash sale. The $47 is alot of money for a student like me in Nigeria (roughly sixteen thousand naira) and when the universe sent me help and reduced it to $8.88, I couldn’t pay because my Nigerian bank card cannot make the transaction. Please help me Alexander, am almost crashing. I need to manifest money to live an easier life and to fund my education. Please create a platform where Nigerians can pay too, where our bank cards can make the payment. Please am hanging by the last thread.

It's curious that people who believe in a LOA are critical of those who don't and believe them to be close-minded. I have presented a lot of new data such as the erroneous science and the data showing that acting as though you had already accomplished your goals was detrimental to you doing so. Yet, LOA proponents do not look at this with an open mind and reconsider their belief system. In this way LOA is akin to a faith-based religion, except that religious beliefs can't be disproven.

Or, like most people who claim to have found the way to manifest things through the LOA, is it that you truly don't want big things, new things, nice cars, paid off mansions, kids' schools paid for, permanent paid vacations, etc. If you wanted them, you know you could manifest them, you are just not that interested in those things right now. That's the typical response.
You are describing how it is desirable to have the good and bad. Death is good. Aging is good. Disease is good. I don't necessarily disagree with your premise. However, these are not the things that people typically want or desire to fill their lives. When you talk about creation and destruction being natural phenomenon, I agree. But invoking the law of attraction should stop the destruction part if that's what I want to attract. This is irrespective of it being objectively good or bad.

The only way to get the Manifestation Magic discount and bonuses is to go via the official website. They have chosen to go via the Clickbank platform so you are not going to be able to get hold of it on the likes of Amazon or Ebay. What is good about Clickbank is that they focus on digital downloadable products (nothing is sent through the mail, and the product name is not displayed on your credit card statement) and they have a 14+ year track record of being trusted in this industry. So you know it is not just a random business that will take your money and disappear without delivering value!

Michael Losier is the best on the law of attraction issue. He teaches one exactly how to master the art of "believe". It is easy to tell people that the law of attraction works; however, the LOA works if one firmly believes in receiving something specific. Now what if one can not convince oneself to deeply believe? Michael has a whole chapter on how one can realistically think ones desire into reality.

I have known of the Law Of Attraction (LOA) for many years, and first went to hear Abraham in the early 1980s, but I considered the LOA too simple a formula, too cute, to be all that Abraham says. But, after another 35 years of spiritual study, I found myself once again back at the LOA. Only this time with a realization: the LOA is the gravity of the Universe. Perhaps not in a purely physical sense, but by analogy, it is exactly that

He goes by the name of Alexander Wilson. Like many out there, Alexander has had his own fair share of ups and downs. He managed to live a double life where to the outside world, he lived a picture-perfect life but in reality, he drove an old, dilapidated car, lived in a house that was literally falling apart, lost his job, and was involved in a car accident. A string of unfortunate events that should have seen him give up on life. But it is these series of “disasters” as he calls them that led him to discover himself and his path.
Andy Bailey, an Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) member in Nashville, is an author, CEO and head coach of business coaching firm Petra Coach who serves in an advisory role on the Gazelles Council, leaders of the Scale Up movement. We asked Andy how the law of attraction can impact business owners and their trajectory toward success. Here's what he shared:
This focus on worry and fear of not having enough money, only attracts more of the same! What you want to do is learn how to change the way you think to a prosperous mindset. The one that is tuned in vibrationally to a steady stream of glorious income. When you do that deliberately you will start to notice feedback from the universe. Little ways in which the cosmos speaks to you, showing you that you are on the right path to abundance.
The Law of Attraction exists and is working, whether you like it or not. If you end up using it for your benefit or to your detriment, it is still be working in the background of our lives. And, there is no way I would ever play a game without reading the rules so I decided to give it another shot. Living without knowing how The Law of Attraction works was scarier than facing it, head on. So, I took a leap of faith and decided to play the game according to the “rules” I learned.
Another example could be to bring new a relationship into your life. Define clearly the type of relationship you most need, even if it is not the obvious first desire. Although you may want committed intimacy, maybe what you need most at the moment is supportive friendship. Assess any limiting beliefs you hold about that type of relationship. Finally, decide what you need to clear out of your mind or heart to allow this is to manifest for you now.
wallace wattles is not god. just because a teacher of a subject says something dumb like don't help the poor ever doesn't mean the whole subject they teach is worthless. but it's true that if you surround yourself with low achieving struggling people it will effect you differently than the opposite and if you think about illness and victimhood most of the time it will effect you differently than health and power
Hanging onto negative emotional energy is bogging down your vibration. The more you release, the less you are vibrating at a level of attracting more of that. Releasing energy about fear of illness for me, I believe has really helped me stay healthy and strong. Releasing old stuff about money has prevented me from going back to a place of, well, being broke.
The same way you get the chorus to a song stuck in your head is the same way you're going to get a belief system stuck into your head. If you want to manifest the things that you desire easily, pick one of these affirmations. Write it on an index card, your iPhone, the palm of your hand or whatever works best for you. Read it hundreds of times. Connect to that truth within you that you deserve abundance and that the things that you desire flow to you easily. While you're at it, download my free success hypnosis. I purchased the full package with great reservation. But after using it for a few days, I discovered it is well worth it. There were so many “games” to help one with being positive and encouraging benevolent outcomes. The games are varied, well thought out, and engaging. In a good way, they force one to concentrate on the many positive aspects of life, not just financial. The company has also informed me that they are going to come up with even more games with the updates. For me, it is a really good addition to the secret to money which is a good app, but this offers even more.
First of all it most certainly does look like a legitimate offer that has been put together. What is perhaps most exciting is that it is not either just a boring long PDF document or just an audio file. Instead, it is a complete A to Z system to help you manifest the future of your dreams whether that may involve quick wealth, better health, or relationships. It is all in here.

Prepare yourself to experience the great side of learning the law of attraction. This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to create positive energy. In short likes attract like. I can say that my attitude is somehow the same of what law attraction is being explained. I am a positive thinker and it helps me to boost my self and to enhance my performance. I am enjoying and getting more ideas by reading this book. It's also a great guide to choose the right path in your future. I can say that it's really helped me a lot.

Try starting with small changes over time so that you don’t feel so overwhelmed and then give up. Life is here to help us grow, improve, learn, experience and most of all love. Accept each little moment for what it is and then move on to the next. Really your first goal might be to move the barometer from negative to positive. Have faith in yourself!
Be like a kid who allows no impossibility to enter her manifesting realm. "Feeling" helps us release any doubt and negative energy. It generates excitement and positive feelings, which support us to take inspired action! So go test drive that car you want, or feel what it will be like to have the perfect partner in your life, because feeling is believing!
You cannot be separated from that which you are calling God… People hear us say, “Reach for the thought that feels the best.” And they think, “Oh no, I need to listen to what God wants.” But aren’t we talking about the same thing? Aren’t your emotions guiding you to that Connection? And doesn’t the word God just set you off on all kinds of tangents that don’t have anything to do with your relationship with that which is this Eternal Energy of Love that is your Source?

Everyone likes to dream, and there is nothing bad in it. But the sad part is that most of the people believe in the fact that those dreams can never be turned into reality. You might start to think I’m crazy if I say that it is actually otherwise. Not all dreams can get real, but some of them surely can. Have you ever thought, what is this magic that lets all these normal people suddenly get famous? What helps all those CEOs turn into millionaires? Basically, they make it look like success is the easiest thing to reach out and catch. With ‘The Manifestation Magic’, success can be lying right in front of you! Don’t worry; you’ll learn a great more deal about it.
"One can work toward manifesting positive outcomes; however, there are always these statements: 'I want this but not that. I want this and that, and I want this, but if I cannot have this, I will settle for this.' These types of thoughts bring forth convoluted requests and results. Using the modifiers 'not, but, and, as well as, either/or' muck things up. The energies that guide us and assist us take the request that was uttered or written and manifest things literally (including those words). It just happens that way. I tell people to only state or write down what they want and to leave out the things they do not want. The use of modifiers often provides mixed results, which may not be what someone wants," Rappaport claims.

Some of the biggest successes in business, politics, sports and entertainment credit the Law of Attraction and visualization for their success. As legendary basketball player Michael Jordan once put it, "You must expect great things of yourself before you can do them." As a business leader, you have to envision yourself in the place you want to be before you can get there.

There are certain steps each of us can consciously take to facilitate the manifestation of our goals and dreams. By intentionally applying these steps we can not only bring the things we have imagined into our present experience but also potentially speed up the process up to a degree. By consciously applying the following steps and being aware of what we are manifesting what we experience in our lives changes to more closely resemble our desires.
