Simply put, the Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. It is believed that regardless of age, nationality or religious belief, we are all susceptible to the laws which govern the Universe, including the Law of Attraction. It is the Law of Attraction which uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into reality. In basic terms, all thoughts turn into things eventually. If you focus on negative doom and gloom you will remain under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts and have goals that you aim to achieve you will find a way to achieve them with massive action.

Whatever you want already exists in your imagination, doesn’t it? Therefore it is just as real as any other idea you have ever had that came to fruition. Play with the belief that what you want is already waiting for you. You’ve placed the order, now you’re on your way to pick it up. What have you got to lose? After all, you don’t “need” what you desire, it’s just for fun.
When you acquire mastery of intention-based manifestation, you won’t require any tools. However, for the purposes of this technique, you’ll need a large mirror, preferably one in which you can see your head and torso, and a small glass of still water. These aren’t especially magical in themselves, but they will receive and reflect the energy of your powerful intention. Have a surface near the mirror on which to place the glass. You will also need pen and paper.
Avoid pinning the idea to a specific person, a specific house, a specific job, etc. If you are looking to manifest a relationship, define the relationship not the person you think you would like to be in the relationship with. If you are looking for a new home define the home walk through it room by room in your mind, define the characteristics of the neighborhood or climate. Let the Universe identify who the person is or what place exactly meets the characteristics you have identified. Once you have completed your definition of your dream, you have placed your order with the Universe. Surrender to the process, trust in the universal wisdom. Certainly define your dream very specifically down to the details and let go, do not try to control the: who what where when and how your dream will materialize. Your job is to define the dream and fuel it, which brings us to step 2.
The law of attraction is the name given to the maxim “like attracts like” which in New Thought philosophy is used to sum up the idea that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life. This belief is based upon the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from “pure energy”, and the belief that like energy attracts like energy.
In fact, I saw this principle proven plain as day when I attended a healing workshop a few years ago. The presenter was going to give an example about healing from cancer, so he asked the audience members with cancer to raise their hands. Literally, 95% of those with cancer were seated next to each other in one long row of chairs. It was obvious to the entire crowd of over 500 people. When the presenter realized the “irony,” he asked if they knew each other. Astoundingly, almost none of them knew each other and that each other had cancer. They had just been drawn together. The negative frequency of cancer attracted more of that. Hello Law of Attraction, right?
This was so apparent to me when I was sick. For awhile, I constantly focused on the symptoms, read about the drugs I was taking, learned about viruses and bacteria invading my body – but pretty soon I realized that so wasn’t working. If you focus on that, whether you have 5% to go to the finish line of total health, or 95%, you are making a choice to be entrenched in the very thing you do not want. Does that make any sense at all?
The awesome news is it will become pretty obvious when things start to shift for you – you’ll notice your circumstances don’t shake you like they used to (you’re able to find the positive in the not-so-fun times), you’re not as drawn to negativity (including people, gossip and TV shows that might make you feel unhappy), and it will start to be clear just how much you misfocused your energy in the past.

I can say that my attitude is somehow the same of what law attraction is being explained. I am a positive thinker and it helps me to boost my self and to enhance my performance. 11) Blame the Victim:  The only reason that anything bad could ever happen to you is because you were thinking bad thoughts. If someone rear-ends you in a car – 100% your fault. If you get breast cancer – 100% your fault (not genetics). If you get raped or abused – 100% your fault. Children getting killed by terrorists, sick babies in the intensive care unit, victims of floods, hurricanes, natural disasters, the Holocaust – yes, their fault. We all know deep inside that this is ridiculous to even suggest. However, it is a basic, fundamental premise of the LOA. You NEVER attract something you are not thinking about. When anything bad happens to anyone, they are to blame. Don’t feel sorry for anyone who has cancer or a disease or starving children in poverty, they brought it on themselves. What causes obesity? Slow metabolism? No, fat thoughts.  From LOA experts, “Disease cannot live in a body that’s in a healthy emotional state.” (Bob Proctor).  “You cannot catch anything unless you think you can, and thinking you can is inviting it to you with your thought.” (From The Secret). “Good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results. Suffering is always the effect of wrong thought in some direction.” (James Allen). “If man will think only thoughts of perfect health, he can cause within himself the functioning of perfect health…” (Wallace Wattles). “Every individual creates every aspect of their experiences – we are in complete control of our health throughout our entire lives. There are no accidents.” (Esther Hicks).

Or, like most people who claim to have found the way to manifest things through the LOA, is it that you truly don't want big things, new things, nice cars, paid off mansions, kids' schools paid for, permanent paid vacations, etc. If you wanted them, you know you could manifest them, you are just not that interested in those things right now. That's the typical response.

Think about the strengths and energies that make you unique. When you were a child you thought to yourself “Wow, I am ME. Nobody else is me or can feel the feelings I feel. They’re mine alone. This energy is uniquely my energy.” Then, of course, the world trained you out of this way of seeing things. You wanted to be the same as everyone else (or at least, they wanted you to be the same). Breaking free and removing failure from your vocabulary allows you to follow your bliss with ease.
When you read about the Law of Attraction, it can sometimes feel like it will take months or years to manifest anything you desire.
