How can you tell when you’ve reached a level of belief regarding an attraction affirmation? You will feel positive emotion or resonance with what you are reading or reciting. When you use an affirmation that resonates positively, you are using a tool that will help you to manifest your desires quickly. Another reason why I’ve written about “how to write affirmations” is because it’s extremely important when using attraction affirmations to personalize them to yourself. While there is no harm in using an affirmation written by someone else IF it resonates or vibrates in a highly compatible way with you. I can think of nothing better to successfully manifest your desires, than writing an attraction affirmation yourself that specifically applies to your own very unique situation and perspective. If writing your own affirmations from scratch seems too difficult, feel free to tweak the content of pre-written affirmations to suit your own personal requirements.
If you’re practicing these techniques with something simple, it’s time to take action and expect your results. If you’re using the system to find great parking, get in your car and drive to that parking spot with the full intention and expectation of finding it clear for you. Announce it out loud. “That parking spot is clear for me. I am parking in the spot that is open for me.” Again, we are fully aware that this seems really silly, but it’s a critical step.

Whatever you want already exists in your imagination, doesn’t it? Therefore it is just as real as any other idea you have ever had that came to fruition. Play with the belief that what you want is already waiting for you. You’ve placed the order, now you’re on your way to pick it up. What have you got to lose? After all, you don’t “need” what you desire, it’s just for fun.
Before you begin to embark on the incredible journey towards true enlightenment in the Law of Attraction, it is important that you understand that you can apply it to your life and it can be effective if the correct tools are used. 11) Blame the Victim: The only reason that anything bad could ever happen to you is because you were thinking bad thoughts. If someone rear-ends you in a car – 100% your fault. If you get breast cancer – 100% your fault (not genetics). If you get raped or abused – 100% your fault. Children getting killed by terrorists, sick babies in the intensive care unit, victims of floods, hurricanes, natural disasters, the Holocaust – yes, their fault. We all know deep inside that this is ridiculous to even suggest. However, it is a basic, fundamental premise of the LOA. You NEVER attract something you are not thinking about. When anything bad happens to anyone, they are to blame. Don’t feel sorry for anyone who has cancer or a disease or starving children in poverty, they brought it on themselves. What causes obesity? Slow metabolism? No, fat thoughts. From LOA experts, “Disease cannot live in a body that’s in a healthy emotional state.” (Bob Proctor). “You cannot catch anything unless you think you can, and thinking you can is inviting it to you with your thought.” (From The Secret). “Good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results. Suffering is always the effect of wrong thought in some direction.” (James Allen). “If man will think only thoughts of perfect health, he can cause within himself the functioning of perfect health…” (Wallace Wattles). “Every individual creates every aspect of their experiences – we are in complete control of our health throughout our entire lives. There are no accidents.” (Esther Hicks).
I read similar books often. I loved The Secret series by Rhonda Byrne. But this book adds meat to the bones of all the other LOA books I have read. It explains how and why LOA may, or may not, work for you. The writing style is conversational and clear. The guidance appears sincere. The book is written by someone who wants you to really understand LOA and how it can work in your life. I came away inspired to try LOA instead of saying 'what drivel.' Yes, there are a multitude of typos. Try and not get stuck on those. Instead, look for the message. It is laid out and waiting for you to try it. I will.

Example: “I don’t want this pain. I can’t stand this pain” changes to “I want to feel good in my body. I want to be able to walk easily and freely.” Do not use any negative words when you shift your talk, because whatever you focus on, grows. And you are trying to grow the positive, which is what you do want. If you focus on “I don’t want to feel this way,” you are giving your focus to feeling that way and attracting that very thing.

You claim that "positive thoughts always resulting in positive things" is not the basis of the LOA. In part you are correct. The foundational basis in science, as I alluded to in the article was that thought stuff particles travel through ether (not air) and interact with formless stuff to create whatever it is that you are thinking about. This was how "the law" started.
