Manifesting destiny and attracting the appropriate energies is, of course, a very fickle, tricky concept. To learn more about how to play it right and build the life you've always dreamed of, I consulted with experts Cali Estes, PhD, Life Coach, Recovery Coach and Founder of The Addictions Coach; April Masini, relationship and etiquette expert and popular media resource; and Davida Rappaport, intuitive psychic with over 35 years of experience. Here are 11 ways to understand the Law of Attraction and how it applies to manifesting the destiny you desire.
There is no right or wrong answer to when is the best time to use affirmations. Most people prefer to use affirmations in the afternoon or evening, however, there is apparently a far greater benefit from using them in the morning. The main reason is that if you use your affirmations in the morning, you are effectively setting your day up by starting out in a positive frame of mind. Plus, saying powerful affirmations when you wake up can help you shake off any negativity from dreams or block your brain from filling up with any problems or difficulties you may be facing.

A new paradigm of business and creativity is emerging collectively. One where lines blur between secular and sacred. Between the bottom line and you soul’s superpowers. Between your daily life and your big dreams. Between your extroverted drive to succeed and share, and your introverted need to slow down and be still, and to, above all else, know yourself, be true to yourself, and honor yourself.
Absolute detachment. This step is one where most people stumble. We like to control things in our life because we’re afraid that if we wouldn’t control them then they would not happen. And this is exactly the reason why we need to let them go. If we’re attached to what we want and we obsess about having it NOW then we’re simultaneously saying that we don’t believe that we can have it. Which undermines principle number 4 — creating an unflappable belief. By letting go of when and how, you show that you believe that it is already yours. Because only he who is certain of the outcome can afford to wait.
Another example could be to bring new a relationship into your life. Define clearly the type of relationship you most need, even if it is not the obvious first desire. Although you may want committed intimacy, maybe what you need most at the moment is supportive friendship. Assess any limiting beliefs you hold about that type of relationship. Finally, decide what you need to clear out of your mind or heart to allow this is to manifest for you now.
1. Actions that matter: The biggest problem we had with books like The Secret was that all you had to do was think positively to see results. This Pollyanna approach to manifesting wealth or anything in life sounds good, but rarely works. Manifestation magic requires you to listen to the audios. This is work. It’s not hard work — but it’s necessary work.
In fact, I saw this principle proven plain as day when I attended a healing workshop a few years ago. The presenter was going to give an example about healing from cancer, so he asked the audience members with cancer to raise their hands. Literally, 95% of those with cancer were seated next to each other in one long row of chairs. It was obvious to the entire crowd of over 500 people. When the presenter realized the “irony,” he asked if they knew each other. Astoundingly, almost none of them knew each other and that each other had cancer. They had just been drawn together. The negative frequency of cancer attracted more of that. Hello Law of Attraction, right?

This step is important because those competing signals can be quite strong. Weaken the signal or change the direction of those thoughts like this: Approach those feelings with the love and compassion that you would feel towards a lonely, small child or a hurt animal. When you love yourself, you open up the possibility to receive your greatest desires, and you begin to only desire the things that are best for you.


Schedule some quiet time for some deep contemplation of what you desire to create in your life. What are your goals, hopes and wishes? Sit down with a pen and paper. Get clear, crystal clear. Define what you do want. Describe it, draw it, and define it. Define it in terms of the positive attributes. Define the attributes and characteristics of your dream. Take care not to use anything as a descriptor that is actually a statement about what your dream is not. Define what it is. Know exactly what it is you want.
Most people don’t consider using the Law of Attraction to bring better health into their lives, but as you noticed in the results of the aging experiment, it’s actually a great tool for that purpose. Because the Law of Attraction works with thoughts and thoughts affect our physical reality, you may be attracting poor health into your life right now without even realizing it.
I purchased the full package with great reservation. But after using it for a few days, I discovered it is well worth it. There were so many “games” to help one with being positive and encouraging benevolent outcomes. The games are varied, well thought out, and engaging. In a good way, they force one to concentrate on the many positive aspects of life, not just financial. The company has also informed me that they are going to come up with even more games with the updates. For me, it is a really good addition to the secret to money which is a good app, but this offers even more.
So we know energy is the basis of all matter. And energy is boundary-less and can spread throughout the entire universe. So perhaps you see the possibility that our thoughts – which are clearly energy – could interact with other energies in the universe. And if they do this, maybe they can affect the form in which energy comes into being (or manifests) as physical reality.

Thoughts and emotions manifest in your vibrational frequency. Your vibration is the “signal” you are broadcasting out into the world, to draw more to you. Thoughts alone cannot easily attract either positive or negative though – the important piece behind the thought is our emotional vibration. But, changing our thoughts can help shift our emotional vibration and then, viola, we can attract the positive.
Michale does an incredible job of explaining LOA and sharing how to use it in your own life without all the mumble-jumble. Straight forward, easy to understand, and apply makes it a great book to read and read and read. I also listen to his podcasts and following him on youtube. He practices what he preaches and encourages everyone to be success in manifesting their dreams.
Michael Losier is the best on the law of attraction issue. He teaches one exactly how to master the art of "believe". It is easy to tell people that the law of attraction works; however, the LOA works if one firmly believes in receiving something specific. Now what if one can not convince oneself to deeply believe? Michael has a whole chapter on how one can realistically think ones desire into reality.
And I know some people – maybe even YOU! – reading this will be thinking of asking for help with an issue on which you simply need guidance rather than a clear “yes” or “no”. Well, that’s fine too, but in either case make sure that the universe knows you want a clear, unequivocal answer within the next 48 hours. The Law of Attraction will provide it as requested….
This is the most “yin” or “feminine” stage of creation. Its season is winter. Its moon phase is the new moon. Within us, it’s the idea. The spark of insight. The vision. Dream. Intuition, or the invisible nudge from deep inside. We can’t see it, touch it, or point to it. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t trust it. Believe. The gifts from the muse can’t be scientifically proven (yet), but they're real. Talk to them. Partner with them. Ask them questions. Trust. They will answer, if you slow down, get quiet, and give them the space to whisper to you.
And, just as an important side note: Your subconscious is way, way more powerful than you possibly give it credit for. Most people don’t realize this fact. Your subconscious knows exactly what you’re going to do. It’s infinitely more aware of what’s happening in the universe than your conscious mind. It simply won’t be bullied. It’s happy for you to tell it what to do, once you master the process of doing so.
One of the most important elements of using visualization tools is to find the methods that best maintain constant focus on your objectives. Meditate at least 5 minutes a day to lower your stress levels. Stress is a normal part of life, but too much can be overwhelming. Relieve your daily stresses with a short meditation that will relax both your mind and body. For a simple meditation, sit in a comfortable position, then close your eyes. Focus on your breathing, letting your thoughts come and go.[5]
Your actions in this world have more consequences than we can completely comprehend. What a person generally desires is a thing or a monetary result. This selfish touch may unconsciously lower our energy level. For example, say you want to buy a new house. If you only focus how other people may think about you when you own a new house, how to show off, etc. then it is less likely for the energy to flow and for the house becoming a reality. Instead see the bigger picture and truly feel what the new house can do to the world and you. The number of people who will get employment from constructing the building, the way you are your family will enjoy the new house, imaging the amazing feeling to be in the house, having a good time with friends, neighbours etc.
Napoleon Hill published two books on the theme. The first, The Law of Success in 16 Lessons (1928), directly and repeatedly references the Law of Attraction and proposes that it operates by use of radio waves transmitted by the brain. The second, Think and Grow Rich (1937), went on to sell 100 million copies by 2015.[59] Hill insisted on the importance of controlling one's own thoughts in order to achieve success, as well as the energy that thoughts have and their ability to attract other thoughts. He mentions a "secret" to success and promises to indirectly describe it at least once in every chapter. It is never named and he says that discovering it on one's own is far more beneficial. Many people have argued over what it[60] actually is, some claim it's the Law of Attraction. Hill states the "secret" is mentioned no fewer than a hundred times, yet reference to "attract" is used less than 30 times in the text. He further claims that people can obtain what they desire through thought of definite purpose.[61]
3) No Action: The only way to manifest your thoughts into things is to believe and live as if you’ve already accomplished your goal. LOA guru Esther Hicks said, “You did not come into this environment to create through action.” Action shows the Universe that you know you don’t have it and that you doubt its ability to manifest it for you. While it is obvious to most that action is a necessary component of goal achievement, it is completely inconsistent with a belief in a LOA.

11) Blame the Victim:  The only reason that anything bad could ever happen to you is because you were thinking bad thoughts. If someone rear-ends you in a car – 100% your fault. If you get breast cancer – 100% your fault (not genetics). If you get raped or abused – 100% your fault. Children getting killed by terrorists, sick babies in the intensive care unit, victims of floods, hurricanes, natural disasters, the Holocaust – yes, their fault. We all know deep inside that this is ridiculous to even suggest. However, it is a basic, fundamental premise of the LOA. You NEVER attract something you are not thinking about. When anything bad happens to anyone, they are to blame. Don’t feel sorry for anyone who has cancer or a disease or starving children in poverty, they brought it on themselves. What causes obesity? Slow metabolism? No, fat thoughts.  From LOA experts, “Disease cannot live in a body that’s in a healthy emotional state.” (Bob Proctor).  “You cannot catch anything unless you think you can, and thinking you can is inviting it to you with your thought.” (From The Secret). “Good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results. Suffering is always the effect of wrong thought in some direction.” (James Allen). “If man will think only thoughts of perfect health, he can cause within himself the functioning of perfect health…” (Wallace Wattles). “Every individual creates every aspect of their experiences – we are in complete control of our health throughout our entire lives. There are no accidents.” (Esther Hicks).

The first article about this was in Psychology Today - “Throw Away Your Vision Board.” After a quarter million hits and much hate mail, I wanted to make sure that I had a thorough LOA understanding so I read every book from the originators of the law in the late 1800s and became a certified “Advanced Practitioner of the Law of Attraction” by one of the authors of "The Secret." I then wrote “Throw Away Your Vision Board 2.” This time the feedback was a little more positive. I recently published the book, Throw Away Your Vision Board: The Truth About the Law of Attraction. This article will summarize 14 reasons why there is no LOA.  


Since the brain is Velcro for negative experiences, it is natural that we worry so much. It's just the brain's tendency. Keep a worry list for 2 weeks. The minute you start to worry write it down. This not only helps release the heavy energy that often keeps us stuck, but at the end of 2 weeks you will notice none of the worries were warranted. Your brain will have proof that worry is a waste of energy.


While affirmations and visualizations are two of the most important tools at your disposal when working with the Law of Attraction, they are far from the only techniques that you can use to create the life you desire. For example, there are Law of Attraction exercises that specifically target negative feelings and help you work on dismissing them, and ways of stopping self-undermining thoughts before they can emerge and take hold. Meanwhile, there are ways to transform your living space to better reflect your goals and to inspire an optimistic mind set, and social methods that enhance your communication and help you to spread positivity wherever you go.
I like what I just read, but after working so hard during the day at my regular job, I hardly have any energy left to concentrate on manifesting. I understand it takes discipline to accomplish this training but too often I’m sidetracked into negative thinking especially when things don’t go right during the day. I find myself being bogged down by stupid things that annoy me especially when I’m driving, I would always be stuck behind some huge Truck on the road or people driving really slow in front of me and I would get very upset with myself. I can feel how this lowers my body vibration when I’m upset and it takes a while to calm down, it seems I’m always pressed for time and there’s always someone in my way to slow me down and nothing gets me angrier like when someone is in front of me and moving so slow that pisses me off. Believe me, I’ve thought about the manifesting thing for some time now but I lack the frame of mind to even try it.
There's one question every business leader must answer: What do I truly want? You need to be specific about what you want so you can figure out how to get there. Do you want to find your next great hire? Do you want to grow your business 20 percent by year-end? Hyper-focusing your mind on the answer to that question will set you on a course to consciously and subconsciously make things happen. Then you can set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound) so you and your team members will know exactly what you're aiming to achieve.

I love Manifestation Magic book and also the author! The author teaches us how to connect ourselves with the universe to attract what we want. The exercises provided inside are quicker than other similar resources, and so much more efficient, makes me feel there is positive energy flowing around me. It worth every penny, you will not regret buying it.

As a mind-reader, you should try to ATTRACT a different job, since in no way do I have any anger towards anyone with erroneous beliefs. I do feel sorry for you, but this is not anger. This is a free country and free society and you are free to believe anything you desire and free to waste your time as you see fit. You can smoke cigarettes as well. They will harm you and that is your choice. Same as a belief in a LOA.
Some personal questions that you don't have to answer on this site but to think about. Is your house paid off? If you have children, are all of their college tuitions completely paid for? Are you still working at a job? If so, is that because you'd rather be working there than on a long vacation to your favorite places? Are you driving a brand new (fill in the name of your favorite car here)? Are all your hopes, dreams, and wishes coming true?

And NOT EVERYTHING is your fault. As a psychologist, you should know that we have 65000 thoughts a day and most of them are not conscious. In that case how are you supposed to know that you were thinking so subconsciously? (SUBCONSCIOUS thoughts matter too!). In fact, LoA users use their subconscious mind as a great asset. The truth about the law of attraction is actually simple.


The negative thought processes that hold people back will steadily be replaced with thoughts of abundance, prosperity and opportunity. Rather than being a magical quick-fix, it will work at making your brain more receptive and tuned in to opportunities around you so that you are much more likely to take advantage of them to produce exciting positive life changes.
You may find that you thought you knew exactly what you wanted, but now that you are no longer defining your dream in terms of what it lacks you are no longer sure what it is that you really desire. Definition, clarity this is often the most challenging part of the process and where novice manifestors give up. Do not give in; take as long as it takes to get clear on what you want in your life.
